TIMESCAPE ~ Past Present Future

All dimensions are expressions of NOW and making theories of past, present and future is somewhat obsolete

Have you ever wondered if the life you are experiencing at the moment is in the past when taking into account linear time and a life you could have lived before in the future linear time?

"Time can also be linear as well as vertical when moments and experiences are stacked one upon the next or one upon the previous one. Using this model, where is the present moment? Where is the past? Is the past lower or higher than the present in a vertical model? Is the present moment in the middle, between the past and the future, or is it on top because it is the most recent? You see, already we find ourselves in a dilemma, because the moment you introduce a new perspective into an old paradigm you create a dilemma with regard to experiential reality."

Well, I have the feeling the one I'm living now is stuck in between 2 different lifetimes, one in the country I'm currently living in but a few centuries ago because I have memories of a brutal time in Scotland and another one with more advanced technology, with outbound travels into the Solar System from a platform next to the ocean talking a language similar to the american english when talking to other people.

The reason I think the latter is in the future is because I still couldn't find anything on this planet similar to what I remember opposed to finding absolutely every single place I remember when visiting Scotland.
I found landscapes that look exactly the way I remember them, then some buildings that have been transformed obviously over the years and when asking if the entrance of the building was somewhere else in the past or if a bridge was somewhere else, etc it surprises me to find the answer is always yes.

The current belief is that Time is linear and considers Time going only one way with future possible outcomes, but does it have to be that way?

If you think you remember or have a feeling of déjà vu somewhere and wonder if you have been there before, you probably have.

I found this article very interesting and you might want to read it too.

TIMESCAPE ~ Time travel

Timelines can be navigated with systems of thought, awareness and cellular memory.

One can travel to another moment in one's life by remembering a certain moment. We all do this every day with our thoughts. But to physically experience the moment in another timeline is a total different idea.

Time travel is the concept of moving between different points in time in a manner analogous to moving between different points in space, either sending objects (or in some cases just information) backwards in time to some moment before the present, or sending objects forward from the present to the future without the need to experience the intervening period (at least not at the normal rate). Any technological device – whether fictional or hypothetical – that would be used to achieve time travel is commonly known as a time machine.

Although time travel has been a common plot device in science fiction since the late 19th century, and there are myriad of theories out there about it recorded in every period in every civilisation I will explain a variety of hypotheses here;

Time travel to the past is theoretically allowed using the following methods:

Wormholes and Alcubierre Drive
Wormholes are a hypothetical warped spacetime which are also permitted by the Einstein field equations of general relativity, although it would be impossible to travel through a wormhole unless it were what is known as a traversable wormhole.

Cosmic Strings and Black Holes
Theory says that we cannot detect black holes by light that is emitted or reflected by the matter inside them. However, those objects can be inductively detected from observation of phenomena near them, such as gravitational lensing and stars that appear to be in orbit around space where there is no visible matter.

Traveling faster than the Speed of Light

If one were able to move information or matter from one point to another faster than light, then according to special relativity, there would be some inertial frame of reference in which the signal or object was moving backward in time.

There are many Time Travel novels too, amongst others:

"The Garden of Forking Paths" by Jorge Luis Borges

"Slaughterhouse-Five, or The Children's Crusade: A Duty-Dance with Death" by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr
"Einstein's Dreams" by Alan Lightman

You might want to try Burt Goldman's idea. He gave it a fancy name, he calls it:

I have a friend in England who told me he can do exactly what Burt Goldman claims he does. My friend Neil never told anyone or made it public but once he has checked the quantum jumping's website he told me he has been doing this for years.

Basically he can meditate and reach a certain level where he can experience himself in another place. He also believes that there are parallel universes and we can visit those as well, because as he told me we exist in different places at the same time.
As much as I have tried to do this myself, all I could experience was memories of places I have been. Sometimes places I haven't visited during this life time but probably during another life time on this planet. It's more like a journey inside the intricate capacity of long term memory storage and cellular memory for me but it seems that others have another perception.

I personally wouldn't recommend time travel just because when moving your atoms from "here" to "there" you must surrender your cellular memory and forget completely who you are here to appear there. There is no travelling involved but just the fact that you must leave your place and coordinates in a certain place to be somewhere else.

Did you notice that the moment you experience your senses and experience the now you realise where you are standing? By smelling, seeing, touching and tasting exactly at the place you are, you have an identity and can't move to another place without giving up that identity.

The best way to see a Time Machine in action is get a Mac (computer) and an external hard drive. Backing up your Mac on external hard drive with Time Machine allows you to retrieve that deleted file or photo you had last month. Just enter Time Machine and go to that particular moment when you still had that file. It doesn't get more real than that!

TIMESCAPE ~ Watches

Galactic BREITLING

I have never been much of a watch wearer but I did save up to buy myself a nice watch once.

I spent so many years practising sports when I was a child that I rarely used a watch. I would end the training session when I was tired and not because there was a clock somewhere telling me the time.

Later in life, when I was a student I was always saving up to buy myself a Breitling watch. When the moment came that I had enough money saved up to buy a nice watch I never did because I wasn't used to wearing a watch and realised I didn't need one. I could quite accurately tell the time without a watch so I thought it was pointless to spend so much money in a watch.

Who wears a watch nowadays? Is it to tell the time or is it a fashion accessory?
Most of us have a mobile phone and one checks the time on there if required.

I always associated wearing a watch with poor time management but learnt that for some people a watch symbolises the ticking of the human heart and thus an indication of the emotional side of their life.

http://www.artomatique.net/horological-fine-art.html

I once worked alongside an Horologist who was making timepieces by hand and who was obsessed with time. He was a certified Master Watchmaker and learnt by his comments and frustration how difficult it was to make an instrument that would perform a repetitive action without fault.

I never told him but the more he was perfecting his instruments, the more he was emphasising the fact that we didn't need a watch specially if we couldn't really rely on to telling the correct "manmade" time.
Needless to say, this was in the south of Germany, where most services run "on time" all the time. Even the New Year's celebrations started 1 min before the other countries. That's when I reflected aloud in the streets while watching the fireworks : "that's why they are always on time, because they have the wrong time! They are too early, LOL."

This article explains pretty much everything you want to know about horology:

Measurement of the time dimension. In practice, horology is the search for a steady or repetitive action, and the design of an instrument to perform that action and to indicate (read out) a measure of the action. Until early in the twentieth century, horology dealt with mechanical instruments, with effort distributed between improving accuracy and decreasing size of timepieces. Increasingly, however, electronic instruments provided means for meeting these objectives.
An advance in accurate measurement of time came by replacement of dynamic mechanical oscillators with quantum energy transitions. Two standards in common use are the caesium atomic beam clock and the rubidium gas cell. More recently, trapped ion clocks, which use quantum transitions in elements such as mercury, have been developed. A small cloud of ions is trapped in a quadrupole electric field. The ions' thermal motions are then reduced by a technique called laser cooling. The quantum transitions in these clouds can then be measured with high precision.

Radio astronomers require precise time for two areas of experimentation: very long-baseline interferometry (VLBI) and pulsars. Both areas have the capability of providing precise time information. Very long-baseline interferometry involves multiplying samples of an incident electric field that are recorded independently at telescopes situated around the globe while being trained on the same object in the sky. Solar time, or Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), is offset from International Atomic Time (TAI) to allow for the variable rotation of the Earth. The most precise measurement of Earth rotation comes fromVLBI measurements. Pulsars are highly magnetized and rapidly rotating neutron stars that emit intense beams of radio emission. Astronomers keep track of the rotations of these stars by referencing pulse arrival times to TAI, but not even the TAI time scale is sufficiently accurate because of the relativistic effects, gravitational redshift, any time dilation that result from the motion of the Earth. A new time scale, Terrestrial Time (TT), is derived from TAI without the relativistic effects. Timing measurements of the fastest pulsars, which rotate more than 600 times per second, are now as precise as the best Earth clocks over durations of a year or more. Time, which in prehistory was reckoned solely by astronomical events, has again become the province of astronomical observations.

TIMESCAPE ~ Biological clock

We all have a biological clock. This has been proven even for people who don't see the light of day for several weeks. The body follows a pattern where in about 24 hours the cycle repeats itself.

Living organisms evolved an internal biological clock, called the Circadian rhythm, to help their bodies adapt to the daily cycle of day and night (light and dark) as the Earth rotates every 24 hours. The term 'circadian' comes from the Latin words for about (circa) a day (diem).

What are circadian rhythms?
Circadian rhythms are physical, mental and behavioural changes that follow a roughly 24 hour cycle, responding primarily to light and darkness. They are found in most living things (animals, plants and many tiny microbes.) The study of circadian rhythms is called chronobiology.

Are circadian rhythms related to sleep?
Yes. Circadian rhythms are important in determining human sleep patterns. The body’s master clock, or SCN, controls the production of melatonin, a hormone that makes you sleepy. Since it is located just above the optic nerves, which relay information from the eyes to the brain, the SCN receives information about incoming light. When there is less light—like at night, the SNC tells the brain to make more melatonin so you get drowsy.

Circadian rhythm disorders can be caused by many factors, including: shift work - pregnancy - timezone changes - medications - changes in routine. They are treated based on the kind of disorder diagnosed. the goal of the treatment is to fit a person's sleep pattern into a schedule that can allow them to meet the demands of a desired lifestyle.

TIMESCAPE ~ Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)

The Royal Observatory, Greenwich (formerly the Royal Greenwich Observatory or RGO), in London, England played a major role in the history of astronomy and navigation, and is best known as the location of the prime meridian. It is situated on a hill in Greenwich Park, overlooking the River Thames.
The observatory was commissioned in 1675 byKing Charles II, with the founding stone being laid being laid on 10 August 1675.

The scientific work of the observatory was relocated elsewhere in the first half of the 20th century and the Greenwich site is now maintained as a touristic attraction.GMT is now often called Universal Time, which is now calculated from observations of extra-galactic radio sources.

Humans have long used the 24 hours solar cycle as the basis for our clock-based time measurements, dividing the day into hours, minutes and seconds.

For time conversion please check this world clock: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/

The schedule of our lives is shaped by the movements of the earth, moon, and sun.
In ancient Rome, a priest observed the sky and announced a new moon cycle to the King. For centuries afterward, Romans referred to the first day of each new month as Kalends (from their word calare, which means "to proclaim”).
The word calendar derived from this custom.

Nowadays Daylight Saving Time gives us the opportunity to enjoy sunny summer evenings by moving our clocks an hour forward in the spring.
Yet, the implementation of Daylight Saving Time has been fraught with controversy since Benjamin Franklin conceived of the idea. Even today, regions and countries routinely change their approaches to Daylight Saving Time.
Here, you can learn about the history of daylight saving (or as some may say, daylight shifting), the standardization of time, and when regions around the globe spring ahead and fall back. Enjoy!

TIMESCAPE ~ Time expands and contracts

supernovae

The present moment seems no more than an imaginary mid-point in an ongoing perpetuity.

How do we relate to time? time is sequenced in our day because we all have a to do list.

Imagine we removed the concept of time? No clocks. Would our day be much different to our day now? Yes it would, because we would be removing the idea how we measure time, there are units of measure that are smoother than the hours of the day. If there were no clocks to guide our day but imagine we were guided by natural time (which is different for each one of us.)

Two events in my life have demonstrated that time is elastic and can be perceived as slowing down or as accelerating at a given moment.
I will give the two examples a bit further but I wanted to share my opinion on space-time continuum.
I believe that it has to do with awareness and the way we expand our consciousness because by doing so, time also bends at your will.

I read an article about galaxies and how time is running out. Resulting in this "dark matter" theory. I personally don't agree with the following article because my idea of the Universe is different to theirs. Time as we perceive it is infinite because the Universe our galaxy is in will still be there after humanity has ceased and the Earth will no longer exist in it's present form.

This is a paragraph from the article:

"What if the time part of the equation was literally running out? New evidence is suggesting that time is slowly disappearing from our universe, and will one day vanish completely. This radical theory may explain a cosmological mystery that has baffled scientists for years.

Scientists previously have measured the light from distant exploding stars to show that the universe is expanding at an accelerating rate. They assumed that these supernovae are spreading apart faster as the universe ages. Physicists also assumed that a kind of anti-gravitational force must be driving the galaxies apart, and started to call this unidentified force dark energy."

I was once driving and an accident occurred just in front of me involving two cars and a cyclist.
The moment a car hit the cyclist the girl was thrown in the air and time seemed to have stopped. There was no sound at all and all was in slow motion. I was watching in front of me this girl fly in the air and slowly (as if held by some force) be put on the street gently.

On another occasion we were having a party on a roof terrace and a boy fell to the garden a few floors below. Again the boy seemed to be suspended in the air and I could see this happening in slow motion. They told me later that everybody was screaming but I don't remember any sound at all. The boy landed gently on the grass.

Both have survived unscathed and both had looked at me just the moment the accident was about to happen as if I had just caught the right instant to see the event unfold, specially when I was aware they both were about to have an accident.

I have asked many people around me in both occasions to tell me that they have also seen what had happened in slow motion but they all said it all happened too quickly and hardly have seen what happened. Amazing! The same event perceived by different people expressing different levels of consciousness.

I agree with what Pepper Lewis said about time in 2005

A lifetime has a limited amount of time associated with it, but it can be expanded and contracted as necessary.

For some, time is a gift. For others, it is a commodity that can be bought or sold. More appropriately, time is a vehicle. It can transport energy quickly or slowly, and it can move in any direction. It can also assist you in becoming more present. It is important to remember that time can be influenced or manipulated. This subject is not intended be received negatively, and it is important that you expand your interpretation of it, as doing so will assist you greatly. Manipulation is a form of creativity. To manipulate something is to influence it in a clever, ingenious or advantageous way. For instance, if you were clever enough to influence time in such a manner that you would have more of it to spend on leisure activities, you might be quite pleased. But if time were manipulated so that you had less of it, you might feel otherwise. Today, both possibilities exist equally and side by side.
Many say that time is accelerating, but that is not altogether true. The ability to influence time increases in direct relationship to the development of consciousness. Likewise, succumbing to the manipulation of time by others is a by-product of distracted or delayed consciousness. Time is not short and it is not running out. There is no hurry because there is no finish line to hurry to. On the other hand, time is precious. Time is precious because you are precious. Longer ago than you now remember, you created time. You created time as a guide to help you get from here to there and back again. You relied on time and for a while it helped you to manage all of the resources that were available to you. With time as your guide you traveled all over the solar system. You experienced many worlds and many realities. Here and there was as equal to before and after as it was to past and future; it was only a reference. But by the time you had made several hundred trips from here to there and back again, the timelines had become thicker, more dense and difficult to penetrate. Time-travel became slower and you decided that it was easier to remain where you were than to play travel games in hyper-time and hyperspace. By agreement, time remained constant for a long time, but that agreement is no longer in effect. Today, time expands and contracts, undulating and pulsing in accordance with the level of consciousness that directs it.

Time is a perceived unit of time, which is exactly why it can be manipulated. Time is relative to your perception of reality, and reality is an expression of consciousness. The more you expand your consciousness, the more dimensional your reality becomes. Dimensional reality or multi-dimensional reality is not subject to the same constraints and restrictions as linear time and linear reality. Plainly said: Those who choose to remain in linear time will become more susceptible to the slowing of consciousness. This will be more evident in 2005 than at any other time. On the other hand, those who learn to relate to time as a vehicle of energy will influence it thusly. This natural talent, or gift, offers many benefits that will become more evident as the year unfolds. How can you begin to relate differently to time? There are many methods from which to choose, a few are described for you here, more will follow as creativity invites them into your awareness.

Ask the universe to cooperate, endorse, and underwrite your desire to exist in dimensional time rather than in linear time. Pledge to continue to develop and expand your consciousness, knowing that as you do, time will also bend to your will.

TIMESCAPE ~ The Basics

Time is a measuring system, something that is used to sequence events.

I thought to start with the basics and explain what we call time and space-time.

I am fascinated with time! The main reason is because I have an extremely good memory so a myriad of events have been stored in my memory and when I remember a certain event it is situated in a timeless moment. Time serves the human mind.

This idea of timescape occurred to me some time ago when I realised that time only exists when we give our attention to a certain moment, so in other words easily shapeable.

I guess everybody experiences often how some moments seem very long and other days similar moments shorter.

I agree with astrophysicist Adam Frank who said: "The experience of time throughout history is an invention, it is neither god-given nor physics-given. It is a social construct that is built by a particular culture for political, economic or religious reasons."

The best quotes and definitions I found are on this article:

"The distinction between past, present, and future is only an illusion, however persistent. Time is not all what it seems. It does not flow in one direction, and the future exists simultaneously with the past." "To see the world in a grain of sand, and to see heaven in a wold flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hands, and eternity in an hour..."
Albert Einstein

"To see the world in a grain of sand, and to see heaven in a wold flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hands, and eternity in an hour..."
William Blake

"The future torments us, the past holds us back, this is why the present escapes us"
Gustave Flaubert

The space-time continuum can be perceived as being a canvas upon which the life of the universe is drawn. It is, therefore, without limits and without end, universal and eternal. Lets get philosophical for a moment.

From our psychophysical bodies, we are beings evolving in this multidimensional universe, where space and time represent only one facet.
Our state of consciousness usually situates itself within these limitations. We identify ourselves as an entity traveling on this canvas unrelentingly without possibility of return. But, we can also access a higher state of awakening where the focal point of our conscience is no longer located in this continuum, but outside or even better, everywhere and always at the same time. We can then become aware of the fact that neither space nor time really exist.

A conscious being can, from the place that s/he is, know from where s/he came as well as where s/he is going. The place where s/he is, is only the result of the traversed space and the space yet to be traversed. It contains within itself all space. But, this non-dimensional point between two spaces is nothing other than a vacuum, an illusion; paradox and reality. Space has no real existence.

In the same way, if the future exists at the same time as the past, then a connected conscience can know both at the same time. If the present guarantees the future and is a consequence of the past, then the present contains within itself all eternity. But the present moment is only a temporal non-dimensional point; paradox and reality. Time has no real existence.

To leave this four-dimensional canvas, to find freedom, it is enough for us to perceive universality in a non-dimensional point and eternity in one timeless moment. The point and the moment, indeed, do not exist separately but contain within them the totality of the universe which, we know it, is made of an infinity of points and moments; paradox and reality.

How can we do this?
By contracting space and by slowing time, not by physical maneuvers, but quite simply by a movement of our conscience. Reducing space to a point and time to an instant in such a way that both are perceived not from the inside of this continuum, as we usually do, but from the outside, or better still everywhere and always at the same time.
There are in existence several modalities for reducing space-time which are simple and easily accessed which, for most people, appear inefficient.
  • Music
  • Meditation
  • Meditation
  • Audiovisual entertainment
  • Love
  • Perception of silence and emptiness

"There, where you are is where the entrance is found."
